We will explore some of the Downtown areas and after dark capture the LA freeway lights. We will head up to LA and capture images of some of LA’s best known sites. We will hope for more snow low down in the local mountains to
capture the below image of the LA skyline with the snow covered mountains in the background. Depending on conditions we are always flexible. We may visit the Grand Central Market, the Bradbury Building and other Downtown
Landmarks. And we will find a spot to capture the freeways of LA.
Jan 15-18 - Death Valley
Death Valley in winter, during the new moon, will provide many varied opportunities to capture great images of the desert landscape and amazing starlight. Early morning, late afternoon, sunset and starlight are all great light for great images. And don't forget the milky way.
Jul 27-30 - Tucson/Tombstone
We will meet up in Tucson Arizona. Then we will head out and explore many of the wonders of the desert in the southwest. August is traditionally thunderstorm season in this region. We will spend the middle of the day enjoying the hotel we stay at, and do most of our exploring and image captures during the afternoon and evening hours (maybe at sunrise weather permitting – you know that mother nature). If we have clear sky’s – we will shoot the desert by moonlight and if we have thunder clouds we will go for that lightening shot. And either way we will capture the saguaro cactus with the golden desert sunset.
